Terms of use
The rules for access to the registry and responsibility for the data entered.
Working text. It will be approved by the operator before the registry goes live.
Scope of the service
The registry serves to record acute pulmonary embolism cases retrospectively and to process the entered data statistically.
Access and accounts
An account is personal and not transferable. Access is approved by the registry coordinator, who may withdraw it if these terms are breached.
Duties of the data entrant
The data entrant records data truthfully and completely and does not write anything into free-text fields by which a patient could be identified.
Calculation results
The registry is a retrospective record. Scores and classifications are computed from the values entered for statistical and research purposes; they are not intended for treatment decisions about an individual patient and do not replace the clinical judgement of the treating physician. The registry is not a medical device.
Availability
The registry is maintained with ordinary care. Operation may be interrupted for the time necessary to carry out maintenance.

We will inform users about changes to these terms by e-mail and on this page.
